Efficiency and quality of soil sampling according to a sampling tool

ABSTRACT Soil sampling is a fundamental stage for recommending agricultural correctives and fertilizers, estimating the nutritional demands of plants, consequently maximizing productivity. Therefore, this study aimed to assess performance three soil samplers in different management systems terms sample quality operational efficiency. A completely randomized experimental design was used factorial scheme. Three two depths (3 × 2) were with four replicates. At each location, eight single samples taken at varying depth 0.0-0.2 0.2-0.4 m, collection time recorded. Samples analyzed chemical attributes granulometry. Statistically significant differences observed specific (organic matter, K, Ca, CEC, pH, S). In efficiency, hydraulic sampler more efficient than other samplers, being times faster combustion drill six manual probe. Thus, it suitable reliable purposes.
